OIG report finds S&WB employees received excessive overtime, standby pay

A new report from the Office of Inspector General this week found that employees of the Sewerage and Water Board received excessive overtime and standby pay.

The OIG said auditors reviewed a random sample of 88 employees for 2013 and found the S&WB had paid approximately $3 million, which violates the Civil Service Rules limiting hours worked and requiring advanced approval.
