New Orleans IG teams up with Council President to stop bid rigging on city contracts after Smart Cities investigation

False swearing, maintaining false public documents and bid rigging that is what the Office of Inspector General and the City Council is trying to fight with new legislation after the Inspector General says all that happened with the abandoned “smart cities” project.

An investigation by the Office of Inspector General was opened to look into the allegations of improper actions of city employees in the “Smart City” system.
